Notes - The 1860 Census list a William Barns (age 18) at Dwelling Number 1637 with H Gardner, Rachael Gardner, John Gardner, Benjamin Gardner, Martha Gardner, Francis M Gardner, Mary E Gardner, Nepolian Gardner and Benjamin Richards.
Lorenzo Barnes (age 20) is at dwelling number 1638 with William Gardner, Ellen Gardner, Hermin Gardner, Liza Gardner,
Lorenzo Gardner, Rebecca Gardner, and Wm Gardner
I'm betting William is Lorenzo's little brother but don't understand their relationship to the Gardner's. - Lorenzo spent 1 September 1920 - 7 September 1920 in the U.S. National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers. He spend from 25 July 1861 to 9 July 1865 as a Pvt in Company "E 7th Ill Inf" Illinois
